Water from  the Antica Fonte spring source at Peio Spa, rich in carbon dioxide and iron is ideal for anaemic people and for gastric problems. Agreements between Peio Spa and the National Health Service

The National Health Service  usually grants patients one cycle of spa treatments per year by paying the established health charge.

Patients that are not exempt pay € 50,00 for the duration of the treatment cycle.  Certain income and personal situations give the right to pay a reduced health charge of just € 3,10 or total exemption.

To use the supplemented treatments you must present a prescription from your family doctor indicating any exemptions, and your health card.
