FOOTPRINTS IN THE SNOW

Daytime excursions - full day or half a day - and evening excursions with snowshoes ("ciaspole"): apart from being an opportunity to learn how to walk through the snow with this traditional footwear, it is an occasion to get to know the naturalistic aspects of the Park.

Congress Hall of the Park Offices (Cogolo, Via Roma, 65):  Tuesday, 29 December; Saturday, 02 January and Monday, 04 January; at 21.00h, and subsequently on request for groups consisting of at least 20 persons.
Visitors' Centre in Rabbi:  Saturday, 26 December; Wednesday 30 December; Sunday, 03 January; at 21.00h, and subsequently on request for groups consisting of at least 20 persons.

DENDROCHRONOLOGICAL AFTERNOONS
THE CLIMATE DURING THE LAST THOUSAND YEARS
AS WITNESSED BY HIGH MOUNTAIN LARCH TREES

There will be meetings with an expert dendrochronologist also in the winter season, who will illustrate how to determine a tree's age and how to reconstruct past climatic conditions from annual tree rings.
Visitors' Centre in Cogolo:  Sunday 27 and Wednesday 30 December, Monday 4 January and Sunday 4 April, 2010 (from 15.00h to 18.00h) admission free.
Every Thursday, from 20 December 2009 to 4 April 2010; by booking of at least 10 participants (from 15.00h to 18.00h, € 2.00 per person, all bookings must be received by the Visitors' Centres on the day before within 18.00h).
